Swing Trade: Another Sell off

For the third time , the week started on a sell off.

Markets in Asia closed mostly lower Monday, on the back of another Wall Street sell-off Friday. Major indexes in Australia and Japan were nearing bear market territory, down over 18 percent from their 52-week closing highs.

I always believe that this is the opportunity to buy. I remember coca cola was bought by Warren Buffet during 2008 crisis.

Swing Trade: Dividends

Dividends is one of the catalyst in stock market that I used in my swing trade.

A dividend is a payout that some companies make to shareholders that reflects the company's earnings. Often paid out quarterly (every three months), dividends give stockholders a steady return, regardless of what happens to the stock price.

Be it stocks or cash it can definitely used for a swing trade. The recent stock market sell of can be used as an entry point to accumulate any companies that will be issuing cash dividends

Swing Trade: Do Nothing

The PSEI's 2016 started with China's sell off. According to Mark Cuban he will do nothing.

"While all the selling seems to be based on China and the price of oil, I really don't know what the long term implications for our stock market is," he wrote on Thursday. "So I follow the number one rule of investing. When you don't know what to do. Do nothing."
Since my goal is to make money on the stock market and as long as there a bounce or trend reversals showing up in technical analysis, I'll put my money on it.

Swing Trade: Another sell off

Guess the China's sell off will not end anytime soon.

The Shanghai composite tumbled 168 points, or 5.29 percent, to 3,017.99, while the Shenzhen composite plunged 130.61 points, or 6.6 percent, to close at 1,848. In afternoon trade, Hong Kong's Hang Sengindex closed down 2.7 percent, slipping below the 20,000 threshold for the first time since June 2013.
This is new to me. Doing swing trade in bear territory. DCB will be hard to see I guess.

Swing Trade: Catalyst/s

One of the technique for good swing trade is to anticipate when will the market will go down. One of which is the China's sell off. Even if you think you picked a stock that has the best fundamental it is not a quaranteed to lose money on it. Some says it is a recession some says it is slowing down. It is not pretty to see however it is opportunity to buy at lower prices. At least, one should do its homework of technical analysis and see any trends/reversal before entering.

Swing Trade : Fake it 'til you make it.

What I mean of saying "fake" was swing trader are usually done with a lot of money. I don't have a lot of money however what I have was vital of the few enough to be considered in Filipino idiom/saying "palagong pepot".

I just want to document my plan/steps/findings about making money about stock market even if starting small. And if by chance people will start reading this blog they have been warned. Just like how many people said stock market is risky and chances of losing money is high.

I guessed I made myself cleared because in the end I don't readers see me naked.
